Nicholas was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017.

He graduated with a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the Singapore Management University in 2016 and he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore.

As a litigator, he actively looks for the most cost-efficient way to assist clients to settle their disputes. Most of his contentious cases successfully achieve settlement at mediation, whether the mediation takes place before or after commencement of court action.

As a meticulous drafter, he also regularly undertakes drafting work ranging from wills to prominent, high-value business agreements. To date, he has drafted numerous contracts for commercial ventures, partnerships, franchises, and shareholders.

Nicholas takes an interest in small businesses and actively advises on their corporate matters, as well as their rights and obligations with relation to third parties. He also takes an interest in social justice issues such as access to justice and the constitutional rights of citizens.
Outside of the office and courtroom, Nicholas is a distinguished classical organist with both local and international concert performance experience. He regularly plays the pipe organ for weddings, services and choral concerts.
