Kashvin Kaur obtained her LL.B. from the University of Sheffield in 2015 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2019. Prior to joining the firm as Counsel in 2026, she practised in boutique law firms, where she gained broad experience across civil, criminal, and family practice.
Her civil work covered contractual disputes arising from complex commercial arrangements and private contractual disputes, encompassing both advisory and contentious matters. In criminal practice, she acted in defence work at the pre-trial and interlocutory stages, assisting clients in matters involving investigations, representations, and procedural applications. In family law, she acted in proceedings involving divorce, custody, maintenance, and ancillary matters, providing practical and client-focused advice in sensitive disputes.
Kashvin also has experience in shipping litigation and arbitration, having worked on a variety of maritime disputes including charterparties, cargo claims, and related commercial conflicts. She has acted in both litigation and arbitration proceedings, and is familiar with the procedural and strategic demands of cross-border and industry-specific disputes.
Her practice is characterised by a strong grounding in contentious work, sound legal judgment, and a practical approach to resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.
