Luke Netto, Counsel of Netto & Magin LLC, argued before the Singapore High Court and successfully struck out a half a million-dollar claim brought by a majority shareholder against a minority shareholder notwithstanding the existence of a signed Settlement Agreement between the two parties.
Luke Netto successfully argued that the claim (if any), should be brought by the Company and not a shareholder. In striking out the claim, the High Court agreed with this submission. The Majority Shareholder was made to pay the legal costs of the Minority Shareholder.
