Prior to joining the firm, Leo practiced with Genesis Law Corporation for 3 years, where he developed a strong foundation in civil and commercial litigation disputes. During this time, Leo learned from vastly experienced practitioners and was exposed to a broad range of general litigation matters, including assisting on corporate and commercial disputes before the High Court, advising on complex construction claims and representing clients in criminal and matrimonial disputes. Leo’s interest and journey in Intellectual Property (IP) began in 2008 while pursuing his Diploma in Law & Management at Temasek Polytechnic. Leo has also gained valuable and extensive technical experience in Intellectual Property law as a Legal Executive at several boutique IP firms in Singapore. His experience covers a broad range of Intellectual Property matters, including confidential information, personal data, copyright, design, trademark and patent related disputes, with a focus on Intellectual Property prosecution and enforcement work. Leo’s vast experience in handling Intellectual Property matters and disputes allow him to deliver effective, practical and cost-effective legal advice to his clients.

Leo also actively volunteers with the Jalan Kayu Legal Clinic, administered under Pro Bono SG, to give legal guidance to members of the community. Outside of his legal practice, Leo lives and breathes football and he tries to spend as much time with his 2 young daughters.
