Leslie Netto obtained his LLB with Honours from the University of London and was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1979. He was appointed an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1980. For more than thirty years, he has been in continuous practice as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore.
He has drafted constitutions for associations, Trade Unions and Clubs. He has represented clients in the Court of Appeal, High Court, State Courts and arbitration on litigation matters involving serious issues of law.
The areas of law covered by such litigation are constitutional law, commercial matters, workmen’s compensation claim, property matters, Probate and Trust Law, Clubs and Societies matters and company law. He has represented clients in numerous criminal cases.
He has also acted as advisor and counsel in a number adjudication cases under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOP cases).
He continues to be actively involved in solicitors and general litigation work.

He has represented clients in the Court of Appeal, High Court, State Courts and arbitration on litigation matters involving serious issues of law. The areas of law covered by such litigation criminal matters are, corporate proceedings like misfeasance proceedings against directors and inspectors’ inquiries under the Singapore Companies Act and general civil and commercial matters.
He handles corporate and other commercial and civil matters. He continues to be actively involved in solicitors and general litigation work.
Lucy Netto graduated from the University of London and was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1982 and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in the same year. She was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1996 and as a Notary Public in 2000.
She was actively involved in legal practice from 1982 to 1994 when she left to lecture law. Since her return, she has been continuously in active practice.
All along, while in practice, she has handled property matters, conveyancing, family matters, Probate and personal injury cases. She also does a great deal of solicitors work such as preparing contracts, wills, Powers of Attorneys, etc.
She represents clients in the Court of Appeal, High Court, State Courts, Family Justice Courts on matters involving serious issues of law. She has also represented clients in the Syariah Court and Appeal Board. She continues to be actively involved in solicitors and general litigation work.
Obtained LLB with Honours from University of London 1993 and Master Of Business Administration in 2002 from Victoria University Of Technology. Prior to joining Netto & Magin LLC, Mr Shanmugam worked as a legal counsel in a listed construction industry SME. He has more than 10 years of experience in doing corporate and commercial work.
He has drafted many commercial agreements including franchising, licensing, joint venture and construction agreements in the oil and gas industry. During his stint as a legal counsel, he has been involved in many litigation matters including arbitration. He has also represented clients in criminal matters and personal injury claims.
He has also acted as advisor and council in a number adjudication cases under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOP cases).
Presently, he continues to be actively involved in solicitors and general litigation work.
She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2009 and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2012.
She practices general litigation with a focus in the areas of Family Law and Probate matters. She specializes in Syariah Law. She also deals with proceedings and applications involving custody of children, maintenance and Personal Protection Orders (PPO). Beside theses, she also regularly advises on other personal legal matters such as drafting of Wills, Probate and Administration, Lasting Power of Attorney and also the relevant applications under the Mental Capacity Act. On the civil front, she is experienced in dealing with matters such as bankruptcy and insolvency and debt recovery.
She has been with the firm since her practice training contract and is actively involved in Legal Clinics.

Srijit Jeshua obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 2013 in the top 30% of his cohort. He was also a finalist in his Law faculty’s mooting competition where he emerged as best speaker. He was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia in 2014 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016.

Srijit Jeshua is a water sports enthusiast. During his free time, he engages in various sporting and outdoor activities and is actively involved in his church and in legal clinics.

Nicholas was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the Singapore Management University in 2016 and he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (2nd Class (Upper) Honours) from the National University of Singapore, majoring in both Sociology and Social Work. In his final year in law school, he was awarded the Harry Elias Partnership LLP Prize for the Top Student in Negotiation and Mediation.
Nicholas practises litigation work in a wide variety of areas including civil and commercial disputes, construction disputes, tenancy matters, moneylenders’ actions, tort law, contentious divorce and other matrimonial proceedings under the Women’s Charter.
Nicholas, who meticulously pays close attention to detail, has experience drafting contracts for commercial ventures and partnerships, as well as franchises. He also drafts wills and other legal documents.
Nicholas takes an interest in small businesses and is available to advise on business owners’ rights under the Companies Act, as well as assist in various company-related matters. He also has a special interest in social justice issues such as access to justice and the constitutional rights of citizens.
Outside of the office and courtroom, Nicholas is an experienced classical organist with both local and international concert performance experience. He regularly plays the pipe organ for weddings, services and choral concerts.
